  • As lead designer for a fun and engaging kids virtual world, created interface prototypes, wireframes for user task flows, visual design, logo and icon design from early sketches to initial product launch

Visual Designer, Wallop Technologies

  • As lead designer for the flash based social networking application, created visual and interation designs for the initial beta launch and subsequent releases under tight deadlines
  • Developed the Wallop design language by creating guidelines for navigation and header systems, dialog boxes, menu and button behaviors, drag and drop functionality, and other core system elements

Visual Designer, Yahoo!

Network Services Group | January 2004 - April 2005
  • Created visual designs for the 2005 redesign, including the design of the Yahoo! tabbed search bar, which has since become a standard design element among Yahoo! properties
  • As lead visual designer for My Yahoo!, created user experiences to help users add content, select themes, and build starter pages. Also designed the product tour and created prototypes for potential UI improvements
Special Events Group | November 2002 - December 2003
  • Was the sole designer for Yahoo! Movies Coverage of the 75th Academy Awards website, including the interaction and visual design of the 'Acadamemory' game
  • As lead visual designer, provided art direction for the 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup website, including the design of the 'MatchCast' application, as well as the 'Tournament Review' mini-site
  • Led the visual and interaction design of the Official Site of Global Extremes, a reality tv show on Outdoor Life Network. Designed layouts for athlete bios, location data, photos, and episode reviews
Yahoo! Sports | August 2002 - January 2003
  • Was the visual designer for the 2003 site redesign, which helped propel it to become the 2nd most popular site in the sports category while increasing ad revenues and user pageviews
  • Redesigned the presentation of news, stats, team calendars, player profiles, and other pages in order to meet the user needs of more content, cleaner layout, and easier navigation
Official Site of the 2002 FIFA World Cup | September 2001 - July 2002
  • Led a team of three designers while providing art direction, interaction design, and visual design for the site. It was the most visited sports site at the time, and was nominated for a 2002 Webby Award
  • Worked directly with the client to develop the 'MatchCast' application from concept to production
